Western Products is Western Welding and Manufacturing’s brand name of snow plows and snow removal equipment. Western is the leading name in the industry, producing commercial-grade truck-mounted salt and sand spreaders, snowplow replacement parts, and snow removal accessories.

As the nation experienced a suburban population boom during the 1950s, Western capitalized on the growing market for light-duty trucks. The demand for snowplows escalated each following year, with the period between the 1960s and 1970s being the company’s most profitable era. In 2005, Western parent company Douglas Dynamics purchased Blizzard Corporation and with it came the complete line of Blizzard snowplows and patents.
